Review of the Free Online Game Snomageddon

Here is a review of the online game known as Snomageddon by Joey Betz.  This game can be found at

Snomageddon is a very fast and simple game to learn.   In the game there are two different modes you can play.  These modes are explained below.

The story mode is where mutated snowmen are attacking your house and you have to hold out till spring which is 15 days away.  The question is whether or not you will be able to do so.

You start out with a pistol and work your way through many different guns. I found that the lower level guns such as the rifle, shotgun and grenade launcher were not really that useful.  Since you have the ability in the game to purchase higher level games so I would recommend saving till you can afford the assault rifle, then add the orbital laser gun.   Other semi- useful guns are the mini gun and the heat ray.   You can also upgrade your house 5 times which will add more health to your house.   If your house loses too much health there are methods where you can repair it

There are a variety of snowmen that will attack you.  For instance, there are normal snowmen, range throwing snowmen, mutant snowmen and giant snowball snowmen.

Since there is money involved with the game you will need to know the best way to get the most money.   The fastest way to gain money is to make continuous head shots at the snowmen.  The more continuous head shots you make, the more money you will get.  This of course helps you to purchase better guns so you can then multiply your money.  It is a fun cycle.

In the survival mode you get $50,000 so you can buy any two weapons and upgrade your house.   Then the point is to survive as long as you can which can get boring after a long time.  I would not really recommend this mode.  In my opinion the story mode is more fast paced and exciting.

In the story mode of the game there are also achievements such as reaching certain days in the game, and buying every item and upgrade available.  In the survival mode there are also achievements for how long you can last before being killed and for killing 1000 snow men.  In both modes there are achievement points for how many snowmen head shots in a row that you can do.

Review of Free Online Game Demolition City

There is a game available to play on the internet called Demolition City designed by joeybetz.  It can be accessed at:

http://armorgames.com/play/4142/demolition-city

This game is a very relaxing game.  It is quick to learn and falls into the category of “fun problem solving games”.  The game contains 20 different levels which get more difficult as you advance through the levels.  It is a good fun game that will provide about 15 – 50 minutes of gaming fun.

The rules are simple and easy to learn but it will take some practice to determine the proper strategy.

The game is a simple game of demolishing buildings.  Sticks of dynamite are provide to you to place on the building.  Some levels have two dynamite sticks while other levels provide up to 8 sticks.  The first level is a very simple building in which you have three sticks of dynamite.  By placing them on the supporting structure you are able to take away the support of the building and it topples down.  There is a clearance line that all the support beams need to fall under for you to pass the level and move on to the next level.  If you do not get all the beams under the clearance line, you must play the level again.  You get bonus points for the style and time you take to pass the level.

As you progress through the levels, the wood support beams get supplemented by steel beams.  You cannot place dynamite on these beams so you have to work around that problem and take the support out from under them with the beams you can place dynamite on.

Some of the harder levels have another building that is positioned to the right of the building you are trying to demolish.  The beams from your building cannot touch this completed building.  Therefore, you have to position your dynamite in such a way that the demolished building falls to the left while still clearing the clearance line.

This game is recommended for someone with 15 – 30 minutes to play.  I would give it 4.5 stars as a game that is easy to learn but challenging to master.  Even someone who is not really into online games would enjoy this game.  As you finesse the art of placing the dynamite, you can go back and see if you can get more points than you previously got.  You can even play in the same room with someone on a different computer and see if you can beat them.
